The Story
The Story
Beyond the Damson Grove, where the orchard gave way to old garden walls, a narrow pathway wandered beneath climbing roses.
It was never a road that led anywhere in particular.
It simply invited people to slow their pace.
For generations, the roses had returned each spring, weaving themselves around weathered arches and ancient brick, filling the warm summer air with colour, fragrance and quiet beauty.
The Reader often walked there when his thoughts grew heavy.
He never hurried.
Instead, he paused to admire each bloom, knowing that no two flowers were ever quite the same.
"Even the shortest path," he would often say,
"can leave the deepest memory."
As summer reached its height, the scent of soft roses drifted gently along the path, carried upon warm afternoon breezes.
Hidden amongst the hedgerows, wild pink pepper berries ripened in the sunshine, their bright, delicate spice bringing a gentle warmth to the sweetness of the flowers.
Together they created a fragrance that felt graceful, comforting and quietly uplifting.
Before long, people found themselves returning to the Rose Walk for reasons they could never quite explain.
Friends met beneath its flowering arches to share stories.
Families wandered together on long summer evenings.
Some came simply to enjoy a few moments of peace before returning to the busyness of the day.
No one ever seemed to leave quite as they had arrived.
The Reader understood why.
Some places ask us to keep walking.
Others ask us to pause.
The Old Rose Walk had always known how to do the latter.
In time, it became one of Hawthorn's most treasured paths.
A place where the fragrance of summer roses lingered upon the air, gentle conversations echoed beneath the blossoms, and every unhurried step became another memory woven into the story of the county.

Our wax melts are carefully crafted to deliver a rich and lasting fragrance. To enjoy the very best performance, consider the following:
Room Size
Larger or open-plan spaces naturally require more fragrance to fill the room. For the best scent throw in these areas, using more than one wax burner may be beneficial.
Fragrance Choice
We use the highest fragrance load our wax can safely hold. As every fragrance is made from a unique blend of ingredients, some scents will naturally be lighter or stronger than others.
Wax Burner
Your choice of wax burner plays an important role in fragrance performance. Burners that become too hot, or have only a short distance between the tealight and the melting dish, can cause the fragrance to evaporate more quickly. For the best results, we recommend using a wax melt burner with approximately 10cm between the tealight flame and the melting dish, allowing the wax to melt gently and release its fragrance gradually.
